NFL 2022 Preseason: Raiders vs Vikings

There were highs and lows on both sides of the ball during the NFL preseason game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Las Vegas Raiders at the Allegiant Stadium.

The Vikings’ preseason opener was a 26-20 loss against the Raiders. The Raiders drove within three yards of the Minnesota end zone on their opening possession before settling for a field goal by former Viking Daniel Carlson from 23 yards out. Second quarter play resulted in a 10-0 Raiders lead when quarterback Jarrett Stidham scored on a 4-yard run and the Vikings offense went three-and-out.

Both Stidham and backup quarterback Nick Mullens turned in strong performances for the Las Vegas Raiders. Together, they completed 17 of 24 passes for a total of 162 yards and scored two touchdowns. Both quarterbacks had assistance from receiver DJ Turner, who had a spectacular day and scored a touchdown on the Raiders’ first drive of the second half. Turner’s reception was good for 34 yards.
