IPS participates in the IAVM Venue Connect 2022 in Phoenix AZ

On July 18-21, 2022, the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM) held its 97th Annual Conference and Trade Show at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, AZ. This event was tagged as Venue Connect 2022.

VenueConnect draws industry professionals from a diverse range of venues for public gatherings including arenas, convention centers, amphitheaters, fairs, performing arts centers, stadiums, universities, and more. The main goal is to inspire top-level business leaders and bring together individuals in the events industry to forge or strengthen professional connections that will last a lifetime.

The International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM) is universally recognized as the premier association for providing outstanding leadership, ground-breaking innovation, superior education, empathetic advocacy, numerous opportunities to network with other event professionals, and global connections.

Aside from building networks with each other, attendees are also given the opportunity to network with senior-level venue executives who control billions of dollars in purchasing power.

From the headquarters of IPS Security, two of our leaders, Nicole and Martell were sent out to represent the company and they have enjoyed their time in the entirety of the event. They had a great time learning new things and attending workshops on topics such as the future of technology, political advocacy, convention center town halls, and sustainable practices in the industry. According to Martell, “attending VenueConnect has fueled my love even further, and I am looking forward to seeing what the future holds for me in this field.”

We cannot wait to see what’s next in 2023!
